Company Manager - UK Summer Tour
We are looking for a Company Manager to travel with our touring production of 'The Most Perilous Comedie of Elizabeth I' this summer on a UK-wide tour. We're looking for a practically-minded individual with a spirit for adventure, ready to embark on a 16-week tour visiting over 90 venues from Cornwall to Inverness, and everywhere in between.
The Company Manager will travel with the troupe of four actors and manage all day-to-day operations on the road. The role is a multi-faceted one, combining company manager, driver, stage construction manager, front-of-house manager, and overall team leader.
This role will suit practically minded individuals, with excellent personal communication skills and a problem-solver mentality! We are looking for an individual who will lead the team with the utmost professionalism and care.
We're keen to hear from candidates from a broad range of backgrounds, including (but not limited to) stage management, project management and producing. It is not essential for candidates to have experience working in theatre, and we would welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including events and other sectors.
Project Dates: 12 May - 10 September. Accommodation and food provided. Competitive weekly salary.
